The EAWCP is a participating organization in the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community in Erie.  

Each participant that raises/donates $30 will receive a Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community t-shirt AND an EAWCP t-shirt. The EAWCP offers additional fundraising incentive prizes at, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, and $2,500.

The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community is an annual fundraising walk that benefits local health and human service agencies. Highmark Inc. underwrites the cost of the walk so that 100 percent of the money raised by walkers goes to the participating organizations.

The primary goal of the walk is to help participating organizations raise money for their individual missions. The secondary goal of the walk is to energize community members to have a greater hand in their health by becoming or staying physically active. The concept of pulling organizations together in one big walk is a way for Highmark Inc. to underwrite the event and make a major impact in the community.
