Education Programs for Children

If your child had a seizure, would their siblings, friends, classmates, and teammates know what to do and how to help?

Join us for a free, virtual program that helps children understand what epilepsy is, what seizures look like, and some simple ways they can help someone when a seizure occurs!


My Not-So-Secret Seizures

This program features a picture book called My Not-So-Secret Seizures, which helps our youngest audiences to learn what seizures look like and how to help! If you provide your mailing address during registration, we will send you free copies of a coloring book version of the story for each child who is participating. This 30-minute program is recommended for up to 3rd grade.

This program will help children learn what seizures look like and how to help! We will include a demonstration of what happens in your brain when you have a seizure, using a plasma ball as our model. This 45-minute program is recommended for 3rd grade and up.
